Growing Together

Whoever you are, wherever you're from, You belong here!

The student ministry of Rusk FBC seeks to walk beside parents to help make disciples of all teenagers. We attempt to do that through Teaching, Small Groups, and Outreach opportunities both within Rusk and outside it. We believe that teenagers have a role in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and are an integral part of the church today! (1 Timothy 4:12)

Our student ministry is committed to supporting and leading students in 7th through 12th grade through their journey of spiritual growth while providing a welcoming space where they feel loved and cared for. Teenagers can hear sound Biblical teaching, discover what the Gospel means for them, build meaningful relationships, and develop strong moral values through the Bible. Our dedicated team of leaders offers engaging programs, relevant teaching, and opportunities for personal growth and service. By focusing on the unique needs and challenges of teenagers, we aim to equip them with the tools they need to navigate their teenage years with confidence in Jesus and build a spiritual foundation for their life that they can stand upon into adulthood!

Sundays

Wednesdays

9:15am-10:15am

6:00Pm-7:00Pm

Our Sunday School time takes place in the youth room. We love getting to dive into God's Word and learn about foundations of the Bible and how it applies to our life!
Sunday nights are when our Community Groups meet! This time is meant for deep discipleship. We aim to get a spiritual pulse on our students and help them individually take next steps in their faith. We break down groups by age and gender that are led by trained volunteers as we dive into the Scriptures!

5:30Pm-7:30pm

Wednesday nights are the prime time for students. We meet together for dinner and hangout at 5:30 PM during the school year and then go into a time of worship and Bible study at 6:30 PM.
